What's Happening at the JD* Wesley Foundation?
JD students, faculty, and staff are meeting every Tuesday at 12:15 for a free lunch and a Five Minute Message. Both the lunch and the message are provided by local United Methodist Churches.
If anyone will be attending JD in the future contact Janis Slade at 863-4296 or wesley4jd@aol.com for more information. The JD Wesley offers scholarships, child care grants, gift cards, opportunities for mission, worship, and fellowship to JD students of all ages.

USM-Gulf Coast students faculty, and staff are meeting every Thursday at 12 noon for a free lunch and a Five Minute Message. Both the lunch and the message are provided by local United Methodist Churches.
If anyone will be attending the Gulf Coast Campus of USM in the future contact Janis Slade at 863-4296 or wesley4usmgc@aol.com. The USM-GC Wesley offers scholarships, gift cards, opportunities for mission, worship, and fellowship to USM-GC students of all ages.

Our church's college ministry supports our own college students with cards, care packages, and grants for Wesley Foundation mission trips. If you are a college student or the parent of a college student please e-mail the following info to us: Student's Name, College Attending, and the Student's Mailing Address while at school. When we have this information we can keep in contact with cards and care packages. Contact the church office if you would like to receive a newsletter. Also contact the office if you have any news about a college student including graduation info. We also encourage our graduating High School Seniors to become involved in the Wesley Foundation which is the United Methodist Campus Ministry, while they are at college. Our church supports the local college ministries by taking lunches, providing the messages, and participating in their annual fundraiser, the Sampling Supper. This fun event will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 6 p.m. in our CLC. There will be good food, a silent auction, and entertainment. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for students of all ages. Children age 4 and younger are free. Special April activities at the MGCCC-JD and USM-GC Wesley Foundations
The USM-Gulf Coast Wesley Foundation will participate in The Big Event on Saturday, April 10, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. To show their appreciation to the south Mississippi community for almost 100 years of support both campuses are hosting a day of community service.
The JD Wesley is recruiting JD students, faculty, and staff, USM-GC students, faculty, and staff and Wesley advisory board members, family, and friends to be on their team for the April 17 Heart Walk.Team members must raise a minimum of $10 and walk on the campus that morning. Anyone who can't walk can come that morning to support the team.
The last Thursday lunch for the spring semester at USM in Long Beach will be on April 22. The last Tuesday lunch for the spring semester at JD in Gulfport will be on April 27. The last Wednesday Bible Study at USM in Lon Beach for the spring semester will be on April 28. There are still open dates for your church to bring a Tuesday or Thursday lunch and the Five Minute Message.
On April 29 at the MGCCC-JD Awards Day Andrea Hardy and Shana Lundy will each receive a Wesley Foundation Student Leadership Award.
