In the fall of 1904, a revival was held with overflowing crowds and as a result fifty-one new members were added, nearly doubling the  membership.  That same year a new church was built under the pastorate of the Rev. James Sells.  The new church was later dedicated in 1907 under the pastorate of Rev. W. T. Griffin.
